Dwelling over footfall...

NOW that the city centre skyline is blighted by cranes, the £900m Liverpool One development has begun the search for a marketing director to promote the development.
The shopping centre with the loftiest description this side of the Atlantic – “Europe’s largest city centre urban regeneration scheme – aims to “significantly increase the footfalls and dwell time in Liverpool city centre.

Devoid of his pocket-sized dictionary of jargon, Mr Brocklebank can only assume this is another example of big wig-speak, along with such loathsome expressions as “blue sky thinking and “thinking outside the box.
