MANY of the services at the former Walton Hospital have been transferred to Aintree Hospital, but the anti-coagulant clinic remains at Walton, much to the relief of one of Mr Brocklebank’s aged retainers, who must have his blood checked there regularly.
On his last visit, he was gratified to find dozens of elegant new seats for those awaiting test results. Good news?
Not so. The seats are too high and anyone less than 6ft tall has to sit uncomfortably with their feet dangling clear of the floor.
Let us hope that the department responsible for the seating has nothing to do with the testing.
